Plant Magic Collective (“Plant Magic,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, register for events, make purchases, or subscribe to our communications, and how we use and share that information.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password when you create an account.
- Registration details: the events you sign up for and any custom information requested for a given event.
- Waiver and health information: where an event requires it, we collect waiver acknowledgments and any health or emergency-contact details you choose to provide so we can keep participants safe.
- Payment information: when you make a purchase, payment details are collected and processed by our payment provider. We receive confirmation and limited transaction details, but we do not store full payment card numbers.
- Order and shipping information: for store purchases, the items you order and any shipping or billing address you provide.
- Communications: your email and preferences when you subscribe to our newsletter or contact us.
- Usage and device information: information collected automatically as you browse, such as pages viewed, referral source, and similar analytics and attribution data, along with cookies used to keep you signed in.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and process your event registrations and orders;
- To process payments and send receipts and confirmations;
- To communicate with you about events, your account, and customer support;
- To send newsletters and marketing messages where you have opted in;
- To operate, maintain, and improve our Services and understand how they are used; and
- To comply with legal obligations and protect the safety and rights of our community.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers who help us operate the Services, only as needed to perform their functions, including:
- Hosting and database (Supabase) — to store account and application data securely;
- Payment processing (PayPal) — to process payments and refunds;
- Email delivery (Resend) — to send transactional emails such as confirmations and account notices;
- Marketing and newsletters (Mailchimp) — to manage subscriptions and send campaigns where you have opted in;
- Shipping (EasyPost / carriers) — to fulfill and ship store orders.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Plant Magic, our community, or others.
Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without them.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

The Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
