Bicycle Day 2026 marks the 83rd anniversary of the day Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann intentionally ingested LSD and took a now-legendary bike ride home, unknowingly becoming the first person to experience its full effects.

It's since become an annual celebration in the psychedelic community, honoring the discovery that helped spark a global conversation about consciousness, healing, and the mind.
